Who we are
Easy Woo API is a WordPress plugin distributed at https://easywooapi.com/. References to “we” or “us” in this document mean the team behind Easy Woo API.
What we collect, and from whom
Marketing site (easywooapi.com)
- Cloudflare proxies our traffic and logs request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
-
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID
G-0RH20EH14R) to understand aggregate site traffic and improve the marketing site. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and collects information such as your IP address (truncated by Google), user agent, pages visited, referrer, and approximate location. We do not use these data for advertising. See Google's privacy policy and Google's opt-out browser add-on if you want to disable measurement on your end. - We do not run advertising trackers, ad-network pixels, or social-media tracking scripts.
Sign-ups and purchases
- Checkout, billing, licensing, and subscriber email are handled by Freemius (freemius.com). When you sign up for the Free plan or purchase a paid plan, Freemius collects your name, email address, and (for paid plans) payment details, in order to deliver the plugin and issue your license. See Freemius's privacy policy.
- We receive your email address and basic license information from Freemius so we can provide support and send transactional emails.
The WordPress plugin
- On first activation, the plugin shows a Freemius opt-in screen. If you choose “Allow & Continue”, your email address and site URL are sent to Freemius. If you choose “Skip”, nothing is sent.
- The plugin does not collect, transmit, or expose customer records, order data, or payment information from your WooCommerce store.
How we use your information
- To deliver the plugin and the license you signed up for or purchased.
- To send transactional emails: welcome, receipts, license renewals, and important plugin updates.
- To respond to support inquiries.
Who we share it with
- Freemius — checkout, licensing, transactional email.
- Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection for the marketing site.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertising networks or data brokers.
Data retention
We keep account, license, and support-correspondence data for as long as you have an active license and for a reasonable period afterward to handle reactivations, accounting, and legal obligations.
Your rights
You can:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your account and personal data.
- Unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe and within any window required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced via email to active subscribers and customers.
