Documentation
Last updated 2026-05-18
A full developer documentation site is in progress. In the meantime, this page covers the basics of installing, configuring, and using Easy Woo API.
Installation
- Download Free from easywooapi.com. You'll receive an email with the plugin ZIP from Freemius.
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP.
- Activate Easy Woo API.
- On first activation you'll see a Freemius opt-in screen. Opt in to receive product updates and support, or skip if you prefer.
Configuration
The plugin's settings are available in your WordPress admin sidebar. From there you can:
- See which public endpoints are active on your store.
- Configure which Product fields are exposed in the schema and feed output.
- On Standard and Pro, enable AI-discovery file generation.
- On Pro, configure API keys, CORS allowlist, and rate limits.
Upgrading from Free to Standard or Pro
Visit the pricing section on the homepage and choose Standard or Pro. After checkout, Freemius will issue a license; the plugin will pick it up automatically on the next page load in the WordPress admin and unlock the additional features.
Compatibility
- Works alongside the WooCommerce REST API — doesn't replace or interfere with it.
- Compatible with most popular themes, page builders, and caching plugins.
- Output is filterable: every endpoint and feed response goes through a WordPress filter you can hook into from a theme or companion plugin.

Coming soon
A complete API reference (endpoint URLs, query parameters, response schemas), integration recipes for Google Merchant and Bing, and worked examples for ChatGPT / Perplexity discovery will be published here in a future release.
